Mollie Meisterman (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She graduated with her MSW in 2013 and started her post Masters work in a Dual Diagnosis program for people struggling with substance use as well as mental health concerns. She started working at the Center for Balanced Living in 2017 and has since been working with individuals struggling with their relationship to food and their bodies since then as well as a variety of other concerns.
Mollie looks at the inner human experience as a complex world that is often hidden to those outside of the individual and can remain a mystery to the person experiencing it. It can be hard to navigate moving through the world with a lot of conflicting inner feelings, physical experiences and thoughts connected to the things that matter to us. Mollie is passionate about supporting others in finding and leading from their inner compass to move in the direction of a life that is filled with more joy, peace, authenticity and meaning. She sees therapy as a journey and leads from a place of trusting and helping build inner trust. She uses pieces from a variety of modalities though most often Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Internal Family Systems.
When not seeing clients or nerding out about therapy stuff, Mollie can be found adventuring with her toddler, wandering in the woods, performing with an A Capella group she sings with, baking, playing guitar, dancing and singing when the mood strikes her, and out and about in Columbus. She is always up for a good restaurant recommendation if you have one and is happy to share.
