Hi! I’m Kris (she/her)—a licensed therapist with over 10 years of experience helping folks navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence. I specialize in supporting adults(age 18+) struggling with problematic substance use, eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, codependent relationships, and chronic stress. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, lost, or disconnected, I offer a safe space where you can begin to make meaningful change and learn skills to navigate life with greater ease.
My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and relational. I draw from a variety of modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I’m EMDRIA trained in EMDR for trauma healing. I also integrate Attachment Focused Therapy to help you understand how early experiences shape patterns of connection and self-protection, and nervous system regulation techniques to help you feel grounded and have a greater sense of safety in your body.
When addressing problematic substance use, I take a harm reduction approach that supports your goals, whether that means reducing use, exploring moderation, or pursuing abstinence. For individuals struggling with eating disorders or body image concerns, I incorporate Intuitive Eating principles to build a more compassionate, balanced relationship with food and body. At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens in the context of a safe, trusting, therapeutic relationship. My hope is for you to feel seen, heard, and empowered as we work together to understand what’s holding you back—and help you reconnect with your inner strength, resilience, and authentic self.
Outside of therapy, I love spending time with my corgi, Harry, and caring for my ever-growing collection of houseplants. I enjoy traveling as often as possible- I’m always planning my next adventure.
