
Candace Johnson (she/her) is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the State of Minnesota. She received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of South Dakota and a certification in Addictions Counseling from Winona State University. Candace has worked with a variety of populations in a plethora of settings including residential treatment, recovery programming, non-profit, and private practice. She is currently working towards her Doctor of Social Work degree (DSW) through Capella University.
Candace utilizes a human-centered approach emphasizing the importance of acknowledging and supporting each individual’s unique needs, perspectives, and strengths. She also utilizes an amalgamation of evidenced-based practices and thoughtful therapeutic interventions aimed at supporting individual well-being including CBT, DBT, and Mindfulness-based modalities. Candace provides a supportive space where authenticity can be discovered and embraced. Panaceas for emotional health and well-being are essential at any stage of our development and throughout the entirety of our lifespan.
