Beth serves as a Provider Relations Specialist for The Emily Program, where she supports patients and providers across North Carolina and Virginia. With over 25 years of experience in the home health, hospice, and mental health sectors, Beth is uber passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and outstanding provider experiences.

For Beth, believing in the care and service provided by her clinical teams is essential. She is driven by integrity and compassion, and she takes pride in the positive impact these values have on the care that The Emily Program offers its patients.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Beth is a proud women’s college graduate and holds a BA in Communications and Theatre from Cedar Crest College.  

Outside of work, Beth enjoys swimming in her swim spa, working up a sweat on her Peloton, and spending meaningful time with her husband and their three furry kids.

As a Senior Provider Relations Manager for The Emily Program, Katie (she/her) connects with professionals, community members, and other treatment facilities to provide awareness and information on treating eating disorders. Katie’s introduction to the eating disorder field began more than ten years ago, working at the front desk of the Cleveland Center for Eating Disorders (CCED). This role gave Katie a unique opportunity to observe both the clinical and business sides of eating disorder treatment. When CCED merged with The Emily Program, she transitioned seamlessly to an outreach role. Katie graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Consumer Affairs.

Shire is a Provider Relations Specialist for The Emily Program’s Washington region. With more than 10 years of experience in the healthcare field across multiple roles, Shire brings a broad understanding of patient care systems and clinical support to her work.

Her experience working in healthcare settings sparked a passion for outreach and collaboration in eating disorders, leading her to focus on connecting individuals and providers with the appropriate level of care. Shire is dedicated to building strong relationships within the healthcare community to help ensure that individuals struggling with eating disorders have access to the resources and support they need.

She believes every recovery journey is unique and is passionate about helping patients and providers navigate pathways to sustainable, long-term recovery.

Robin Forbus is a dynamic and accomplished outreach professional with a unique blend of expertise in outreach, recovery, and wellness. Known for her vibrant and joyful personality, Robin excels at cultivating meaningful relationships and connecting individuals to resources that lead to improved outcomes and happier lives. With a deep passion for educating communities about the importance of specialized care for those impacted by eating disorders, Robin also takes the time to inform and support loved ones about the effects of these conditions. Robin’s enthusiasm and commitment to wellness position her as an invaluable resource in the community.

Lindsey (she/her) is a Provider Relations Manager for The Emily Program’s Northern region. With over six years of experience as a Registered Dietitian specializing in eating disorders, Lindsey brings extensive expertise to her role. Her background in intensive eating disorder care settings ignited Lindsey’s passion for outreach, driving her dedication to connect patients with the right level of care. Lindsey is committed to ensuring that no eating disorder goes untreated and believes in the uniqueness of each patient’s journey and the possibility of long-lasting recovery with the right resources.

Originally from St. Paul, Minnesota, Lindsey holds a BA in Communication from the College of Saint Benedict and a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Minnesota. She is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the community she grew up in through her work at The Emily Program.

Melissa Fritz is the Western Minnesota Provider Relations Specialist for The Emily Program, bringing executive leadership, healthcare experience, and personal advocacy to her role. Her diverse background includes work as a Senior Living Sales and Marketing Consultant, Chamber of Commerce Executive, and Independent Filmmaker, with decades of leadership in mission-driven organizations focused on growth, strategic partnerships, and community impact.

Melissa is the creator and former host of Inside Senior Living®, a nationally distributed PBS series recognized with Emmy® nominations for Community Service and Public Relations Programming. She studied Business Administration at the University of Montana Western and Communications at Hamline University.

Inspired by her personal experiences—including supporting families during COVID-19, caring for her father with Alzheimer’s, and her own lived experience with eating disorders—Melissa is passionate about reducing stigma and expanding access to compassionate, life-saving care.

Wendi Groden had been in healthcare marketing, and outreach for over 20 years and loves being a Provider Relations Specialist at The Emily Program. Wendi has a Master of Educations and sees her position doing outreach to hospitals, providers and schools as that of an educator. She is passionate about teaching the community and healthcare providers about the importance of screening for eating disorders and understanding what to do once you identify a patient.

Working with providers all over Florida and South Georgia, Wendi loves to travel and meet new healthcare professionals and connect with people in a wide variety of specialties. 

Wendi’s free time is usually spent sitting by the pool with a good book or chilling at the beach with her daughter and their yellow lab, Tucker.

Stephen (Steve) is a Provider Relations Specialist for The Emily Program in Cleveland, Ohio. With over 10 years of experience across various healthcare and sales roles, Steve has developed a strong foundation in relationship-building, strategic outreach, and community engagement.

With a background as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and experience in medical sales, pharmaceutical sales, and substance use treatment, Steve brings both clinical insight and a people-centered approach to his work. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Bowling Green State University before continuing his education in occupational therapy.

Throughout his career, Steve has been guided by one purpose: helping individuals live their highest quality of life. He is passionate about connecting individuals and families to the right resources at the right time, believing that access to compassionate, specialized care can truly change lives and strengthen communities.

Cassidy (she/her) is a Provider Relations Specialist for The Emily Program, serving Columbus, Ohio, and the surrounding region. As a licensed clinician with a Master’s in Education, she has spent the past six years working directly with individuals navigating substance use and mental health challenges. Her clinical background, combined with a strategic and detail-oriented approach to outreach, allows her to build meaningful relationships with community partners, providers, and organizations that share a commitment to improving access to specialized eating disorder care.

Passionate about breaking stigmas and advocating for comprehensive, client-centered treatment, Cassidy works to bridge gaps in the system by fostering collaboration and increasing awareness of The Emily Program’s services. Whether engaging with referral partners, tailoring resources to meet client needs, or championing holistic recovery approaches, she is dedicated to ensuring individuals receive the support they deserve.

As an Outreach Marketing Specialist for The Emily Program, Chrystie (she/her) plays a vital role in bringing eating disorder awareness and education to health professionals. She flourishes in the event planning and continuing education aspects of her role, having spent many years in marketing and tradeshow planning before joining The Emily Program. Chrystie received her undergraduate degree from Dominican University in New York.

Elyssia (she/her) is a Provider Relations Specialist for The Emily Program, supporting partners and communities across Georgia south of Highway 20. She works closely with healthcare providers, behavioral health professionals, school systems, and community organizations to increase awareness of eating disorder treatment and help individuals access the appropriate level of care.

With a background in healthcare outreach, community engagement, and leadership, Elyssia brings a relationship-centered approach to her work. She has led outreach and partnership initiatives focused on improving access to care and strengthening collaboration across medical and behavioral health systems. Elyssia is passionate about reducing stigma around eating disorders and ensuring patients and families feel supported, understood, and connected to the resources they need for recovery.

Originally from Wisconsin, Shannan earned her Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from The University of Wisconsin – Madison. With over 20 years of experience in marketing and business development, Shannan brings expertise, passion, and a personal dedication to supporting individuals on their journey to recovery from eating disorders and mental health challenges.

After losing her brother to suicide in 2024, she knew she wanted to find a deeper meaning in her career and found that meaning in The Emily Program. Shannan is on a mission to share our Eating Disorder programs with as many people as she can to help families avoid going through the pain that hers did. 

Shannan is passionate about building meaning community connections, reducing stigmas and breaking down barriers to increase access to care to all.

Keenya Murray Ward brings over two decades of experience in healthcare admissions, marketing, and outreach to her role as Provider Relations Specialist at The Emily Program. With a Master of Healthcare Administration and a Master of Psychology, Keenya combines her expertise in relationship-building with a deep understanding of the behavioral health field.

Keenya is passionate about fostering meaningful connections with providers, schools, and community organizations to increase access to care for individuals affected by eating disorders. Her goal is to create awareness and support for those seeking recovery, emphasizing compassion, education, and collaboration.

Based in the Southeast region, Keenya works closely with providers to develop streamlined referral systems and outreach initiatives that ensure clients receive the specialized care they need. She is dedicated to promoting The Emily Program’s mission of healing and hope for all who seek help.

Outside of work, Keenya enjoys traveling, engaging in wellness practices, and spending time with her family.
