A full continuum of care
The Emily Program care teams bring decades of experience managing the unique medical and psychiatric complications of eating disorders. We provide a multidisciplinary, integrative approach for people of all ages and genders who struggle with food issues, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, compulsive eating, Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorders (OSFED), Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorders (ARFID), and related mental health and body image issues.
The journey to recovery is different for each client, and we adapt our programs to fit age, current physical and mental health concerns, and treatment needs. Struggles with food are influenced by experiences growing up, lifestyle, and interests. We understand. We also know from experience that eating disorders rarely occur without other health conditions, from diabetes or gastrointestinal problems to anxiety, depression, or substance use disorder. The Emily Program has the professional expertise to address all of these complications as part of recovery.
Residential Treatment
Clients receive full-time, 24/7 inpatient support with residential care. Our quiet, safe, and comfortable settings provide the opportunity for clients to engage in therapy while practicing healthy daily living.
Day Treatment
Partial Hospitalization/Intensive Day Program (PHP/IDP) – This all-day treatment program is often the next step after residential care or a starting point for those who need more than non-intensive outpatient services to build healthy living skills. Clients typically spend a minimum of 30 hours per week in a PHP/IDP program.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) – This level of care offers support for those stepping down from PHP/IDP or those starting off who need more structure than non-intensive outpatient treatment. Clients typically spend up to 12 hours per week in an intensive outpatient program.
Lodging for day treatment clients. We offer convenient lodging options in most locations for adults (18+) who participate in our day programs but live far from our treatment locations.
Outpatient Treatment
The outpatient program is for individuals who are stepping down from higher levels of care or need to start off with non-intensive treatment. Individually tailored treatment plans, including group therapy and individual therapy sessions, focus on nutrition education and recovery skills development.
Virtual Treatment
Virtual treatment is offered within a secure video environment, allowing individuals to receive care in the setting that’s best for them. Like our traditional intensive programs, virtual PHP/IDP and IOP provide structure and support through individual and group sessions.
