Staff Spotlight, Nicole Kovalchin

Tell us about yourself!
My name is Nicole, and I am a Behavioral Health Specialist (BHS) at The Emily Program’s Cleveland Outpatient location. I am currently assisting the adult standard IDP/PHP programs at this location until the young adult program begins. I have been with The Emily Program for a little over a year now. I started off as an Administrative Assistant before moving into this BHS role.
What do you like most about your job?
I love our clients and my co-workers/friends here! I always feel super supported in learning how to best serve clients and growing in my role as a BHS. I genuinely enjoy interacting with clients every day and am constantly learning new things from them!
If you could do another job for a day, what would it be?
If I could do another job for a day, I would open and operate a food truck! It’s on my list of things to do in life, so doing it for one day would be a great way to get a feel for it. 😊
What do you like to do when you aren’t working?
When I am not working, I am mostly spending time with my husband and cats. I am so in love with all of them! Life also has me working on grad school and home renovation projects lately, so things are usually pretty busy! In my downtime, I love going to a yoga class, spending time with friends and family—especially my nephew—and unwinding at the end of the day with an episode of silly or dramatic television!
What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
Most people may not know that I have an identical twin sister and that I love Britney Spears!
