Staff Spotlight, Lindsay Dibble

Staff Spotlight, Lindsay Dibble

Tell us about yourself!

My name is Lindsay, and I am the Office Manager at our St. Louis Park, MN location. I have been with The Emily Program since June 2012, and have had a number of roles along the way. I started as the very first phone operator, answering and transferring all incoming calls (which is now the job of our wonderful scheduling team). I have been in the customer service field since I was 15, and it’s something I really enjoy doing.

What do you like most about your job?

What makes my job great are the people I work with. The sincere compassion and empathy that everyone here has, not just for clients but for each other as well, is truly inspiring. We watch our clients take this terrifying/empowering journey toward recovery, and I think the work we do at The Emily Program really does make a difference for them.

What do you like to do when you aren’t working?

When not at work, I’m usually hanging out with my family, husband, and two kids.  We like to be outside (when the weather is nice), camping, swimming, jumping on the trampoline, and riding bikes. We can’t wait for spring to build a course in our backyard for our newfound hobby, RC Rock Crawlers. I also enjoy playing Legos with my kids, but really, that just means I build the sets for them and they play.

What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?

I’m originally from Southern California, born and raised. I moved to Minnesota in 2000, when my parents thought it would be fun to live in the Midwest (really, we have family here they wanted to get closer to). I will forever call it soda, and never pop!

It has always been a dream of mine to go back to school to study Marine Biology, to go live out on the ocean, and study sea life. I have always felt comfortable and one with the ocean. . . must be the Californian in me!
