Suzette Schommer has spent most of her 25+ year legal career in the health care sector, serving as in-house counsel for a state health care agency, a mental health care provider, a pharmacy benefit manager and a health plan insurer, with one diversion as the Chief Litigation Counsel for an international financial institution.
Currently Suzette serves as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Accanto Health/ The Emily Program. In this role Suzette oversees all legal and compliance functions, while serving as an advisor to the executive team and Board of Directors. Suzette’s professional values include helping her business partners achieve their objectives in creative and innovative ways, while managing risk and helping to guide strategy.
In her spare time, Suzette enjoys inline skating, long walks, reading, and any kind of adventure travel.
