We Support Family and Friends

The Emily Program believes involving family and friends is crucial to recovery. That’s why we strongly encourage you to be part of your loved one’s recovery and join our family-focused groups. Married, unmarried, divorced, LGBTQ, heterosexual—we’re here to help and support you. Call us now at 1-888-EMILY-77 (1-888-364-5977) or complete the form to schedule an eating disorder assessment for the person you love today.

Families Feel The Effects

We know that families do not cause eating disorders. We also know that eating disorders cause pain, fear, anxiety, frustration for the partner, spouse, mother, father, stepparents, siblings, children, in-laws, extended family members, friends, and others surrounding an individual who struggles with food issues. The Emily Program provides support for you, so you can best support your loved one in recovery.

Attend our Free Family & Friends Session:

Understanding Eating Disorders, Treatment, and Recovery

We know how overwhelming an eating disorder diagnosis can be for families and friends. The terminology. The process. The uncertainties. Share an evening with us to learn about eating disorders, our personalized treatment programs, and the path to recovery. Our knowledgeable staff at The Emily Program answers common concerns of families and friends facing eating disorder issues for the first time. You’ll leave with valuable resources and a better understanding of this serious mental health issue. We recommend family and friends who are new to eating disorders attend this session at least once before joining a Family & Friends Support Group for a better experience in the group.
