Home Health Aide

We are looking for a friendly and caring Home Health Aide at The Emily Program’s 8-bed residential eating-disorder treatment center, the Anna Westin House. Home Health Aides assist our clients in gaining the skills needed to manage their eating disorder, and are a valued part of a multidisciplinary team that provides support for clients during their treatment.

This position is approximately 20 hours per week and will work overnight shifts.

Job duties include:

  • Monitor and document clients’ progress; weigh residents in morning
  • Light housekeeping
  • Supportive eating at meals and snacks
  • Make rounds throughout night to ensure residents’ safety
  • Light office duties (chart organization, filing, shredding, etc.)
  • Medication administration

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience as a home health aide required
  • Medication Administration Certification preferred
