Join Us For Recovery Night in Ohio on Thursday!
Recovery is possible and it happens in so many ways. Come see for yourself! Our Recovery Nights provide a safe, inspiring, and powerful forum for community members, former clients, and Emily Program staff to share their journey to recovery.
We will be hosting a Recovery Night at The Emily Program-Cleveland on Thursday, September 7th at 6:30 PM.
We are lucky to have three fantastic speakers at this event.
Sara, a Cleveland native who is now working as a school social worker and private pratitioner, will talk about her struggle with anorexia since she was a child. "I utilized different forms of help/recovery over the years," she said. "Mistakenly, I believed my 'problem' was a lack of control. The Emily Program finally freed and healed me."
Nichole, a figure skater, first began to struggle with an eating disorder when she was 14 years old. She was in treatment from her freshman year of high school through her sophomore year in college. "Figure skating and earning my college degree have played the biggest role in my recovery. I would not be where I am today if it weren't for my caring treatment team!"
Angie, a personal trainer pursuing a degree in counseling, will also speaking on her experience living with and recovering from an eating disorder. Angie has been in recovery from anorexia for the last 8 years. Her recovery involved finding connections and support to help her through difficult times.
